What is GAPS Diet?

Gaps stands for: Gut and Psychology Syndrome
is a condition, which establishes a connection between the function of the brain and the digestive system.

This healing protocol was developed by Dr. Natasha Campell-Mc-Bride, MD, MMedSci ( neurology), MMedSci ( human nutrition).

This is a very successful protocol for children and adult who suffer from: autism, ADD/ADHD, depression, dyslexia/dyspraxia, eating disorders, bi-polar, schizophrenia, OCD. IBS, and any digestive issues.

Also with eczema, asthma, bed wetting, chronic ear infection, chronic cystitis, thrush, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia etc.

The GAPS approach is on three level.

First healing and sealing the gut by avoiding all foods that damages or irritates the gut.

Second only eat healing and nourishing foods. And repopulate the gut with beneficial bacteria, supplementing with probiotics and homemade fermented foods.
